p7n diamond x-fi audio working 10.6.8 hazard 10.6.0-1-2

no audio problem, couldn't recognize the pci audio card at all, then a combo of kexts and installs worked.

system setup
os running 10.6.8
ide 80gb primary slave drive one hfs+ partition
hazard 10.6 dvd
8gb ram 4x2 voltage 2.1 (gskill 1066ram at 666)
q6600 3.0ghz oc, stock voltage
creative labs x-fi card pci with mobo
palit 2gb nvidia 460 card with nvidia official drivers & hacked to assist
10.6>then update 10.6.8 via web, fix kexts, remove a few in single user mode, works

needed:
kXAudioDriver-1.30b.dmg
multibeast 3.8

installed:
kXAudioDriver-1.3b

then installed:
Multibeast 38

1. system utilities
rebuild caches
repair permissions

2. drivers & bootloaders > kexts & enablers > audio > universal
voodooHDA 0.2.72

sound right after install, no reboot required.
possibly the system utilities made the kXAudioDriver work, but a combo of the two?

just do both if you are uncertain, it works 100%.
