The SONY VAIO 14" touch laptops are filled with so much propriety garbage, they make me want to smash them with a cinder block. One client had the wifi stop working randomly and the software to boot with hidden UEFI shit made me want to vomit. here is a guide to cleaning out the VAIO touch laptop tablet combos into a beautiful system free of sony clutter.

Remember to have windows on a USB stick, x64 win 8.1 2014 april or later.
The way to enter BIOS on these is to have it off, and press the top right hand side help button and the power button, then after it boots, keep the help button still pressed.
Choose the BIOS setup square on the top right side.
Change the boot style to LEGACY.
Change the boot order to allow boot from external devices and then boot from external devices first
start windows 8.1 install from the USB key
goto REPAIR your computer
use disk part in a command prompt
delete all partitions, even if you use the custom install way it wont work at first
then add a new partition
format it ntfs slow normal speed (~30 minutes max) you can try fast format too
set it to active
restart
install as normal, voila
