no audio problem, couldn't recognize the pci audio card at all, then a combo of kexts and installs worked.
system setup
needed:
kXAudioDriver-1.30b.dmg
multibeast 3.8
installed:
kXAudioDriver-1.3b
then installed:
Multibeast 38
1. system utilities
rebuild caches
repair permissions
2. drivers & bootloaders > kexts & enablers > audio > universal
voodooHDA 0.2.72
sound right after install, no reboot required.
possibly the system utilities made the kXAudioDriver work, but a combo of the two?
just do both if you are uncertain, it works 100%.
