After being infected, your system may not be able to run executable files like

explorer.exe
avg_install.exe
mbam.exe
hijackthis.exe

so how can you fix your system to at least run exe files so you can then disinfect your pc? run this registry fix I found online:

save it, run it, voila you can properly run exe files and start fixing your computer.
