It doesn't really state you need a DVD, just a repair 'disc', so if you put in a cd into your system to burn this repair disc, you will see this error:

So, just put in a dvd-r, or dvd+r into your dvd writer, and boom, you're good. If you don't have a writer, goto http://www.newegg.com and get one, an ide or sata writer, depending on your computer's available spots for either.
