No, it was simply the inverter connector on the board. That's it! Also inside it looked extremely corroded. Dust, moisture, but it worked fine, just repositioned and pushed down, voila.

I found a flickering lcd was not the inverter bulb, nor was it bad wiring, or a surface mount GPU BGA (ball grid array) bending off over heat and time wear and tear.
No, it was simply the inverter connector on the board. That's it! Also inside it looked extremely corroded. Dust, moisture, but it worked fine, just repositioned and pushed down, voila.
